SENIOR PASTOR

    Pastor Samuel Nieves was born in Hoboken, New Jersey, and moved to Florida with his family at the age of seven. He is one of six siblings and has twelve half-siblings.

    Growing up in church, Pastor Samuel was deeply involved in the music ministry, youth groups, and various leadership roles. Over the years, he has held numerous leadership positions, including Youth President, Education Superintendent, Education Secretary, several Men's Ministry roles, Music Director, and Youth Pastor.

       In addition to his leadership roles, Pastor Samuel pursued higher education in theology, earning a Bachelor's degree in Theology in 2016. He has been happily married to his wife, Claribel, for over 25 years, and they are blessed with three wonderful children: Josh, Isaac, and Jacob.

    Pastor Samuel arrived at The Connection in February of 2017, when there were only 12 members. By 2024, the church has grown significantly, averaging 90 people in attendance.
